Multidisciplinary Research Methodology
We are at a time where multidisciplinary collaboration is a must in order to be successful. I plan to share with the audience a systematic, proven methodology for serious researchers and researchers-to-be from conceptualization of a research to closing out a project. I will supplement my lecture with examples of my own and others. Students are expected to bring their case studies to the class for discussion. I plan to spend some time with students one-on-one to critique their assignment reports. Since I have been conducting and managing R&D in nano-materials and nano-technologies since 1999, most examples and case studies will be related to our current research in nano. This course is open to graduate students in engineering and science; however, I’d like to limit the class size to xyz.
